2015 contained some notable motorcycle scenes in film, including the cafe racers in Mad Max: Fury Road and the chase scene in Mission Impossible: Rogue Nation (with Tom Cruise doing his own stunts).
And let’s not forget about Deadpool’s opening chase scene, featuring a Ducati Panigale. That motorcycle scene was filmed right here in Vancouver on the Georgia Viaduct, and featured Ryan Reynolds, Vancouver’s golden boy of film, who stars as the superhero Deadpool.
This behind-the-scenes video offers insight into how the chase scene was captured by utility stunt rider Regis Harrington on a “cycle cam”, a fully electric, modified Zero ZF9 motorcycle rigged up with camera equipment.
